I will be joining The Alice Bisschops Trio, featuring Alice Bisschops on sax and James Lockwood on bass, to explore the music of the great American saxophonist Paul Desmond and his West Coast Jazz sound.

I got into jazz guitar after listening to Jim Hall play a 4 bar intro to a song I now don't remember!!! But that got me hooked, and Jim Hall's work with Paul Desmond remains one of my earliest influences. I am super excited to have the opportunity to immerse myself in the music that got me started in jazz with 2 talented musicians.
