I wrote this for my wife, Jen.

(Jen love = Jen amor (portugese) = J'enamor = to be enamored/enamoured with Jen.)

Why a Portugese inspired title? It's a bossa, derived from another famous bossa, dedicated to the love of my life Jen whom I am enamoured with. Felix has layers... like onions!

Special thanks to flamenco guitarist Alejandro Florez of Solquemia for agreeing to learn this on the spot and bring J'enamor to life. I promise to give him more notice next time and not throw him in the deep end!

Composer's note for music geeks:
I came up with J'enamor while writing a few new arrangements for Kenny Dorham's Blue Bossa. The seed of the idea was to flip Blue Bossa into its relative majors and see where it took me. The first A section keeps many of the rhythmic patterns in the melody of Blue Bossa as a nod to it.
